Ну на датабуки действительно не стоит всецело полагаться, их действительно же пишет отдельная команда, редакторы проверяют, а Ода одобряет. Поэтому в этих Датабуках бывали ошибки.

Вот только написал про Greg'а, и опять же можно привести его слова по этому поводу. Если другие его мнения могут быть спорными и всё же являться просто мнением фаната, хоть и шарящим, то тут он шарит поболее, потому что он сам участвует в официальном обсуждении создания последнего "датабука".

His name is on 'em.

He endorses their content.

But the content is largely written by the creative team behind them and checked by the editors. That doesn't mean they make up names, heights, etc. Those are provided by Oda per request.

Yes and no. There's no single answer to that question.

Is new information like names, heights, etc. accurate? Yes.

***UNLESS*** there's a data entry error followed by an editorial error.

This has happened in the past. Many times. Humans aren't perfect. Grievous errors are usually corrected in subsequent editions.

From the POV of Luffy, he was. That's all there is to it. Precisely what SanjiKun said above.

You're arguing over the ambiguity of an ambiguously phrased sentence in a notoriously ambiguous language. They're fluff statements. They're not right, nor are they wrong, they're open-ended. It's not saying in bold "X is absolutely as strong as Y" they're saying 'X is comparable to Y'.

And in the instances where it's wrong? .....Guess what? It's wrong. That doesn't instantly undo the other information (names, etc.) that are new and original albeit an editorial error (AND THERE HAVE BEEN SOME BIG ONES ^O^)

So yes and no.

Just read them with a cup of common sense.
